NEW for SUMMER 2020
UBC Camps is partnering with UBC Forestry’s youth programming stream Wild and Immersive to deliver a unique overnight camp!
Campers will stay at Loon Lake Lodge and Retreat Centre, on the edge of Golden Ears Provincial Park; tucked quietly in the heart of The University of British Columbia’s Malcolm Knapp Research Forest.
Campers will be part of an overnight, outdoor experience where they will enjoy classic overnight camp fun: swimming, canoeing, art and more, all while learning about the great outdoors.
Nature Explorers – Ages 9 – 13
This overnight program provides campers with the opportunity to participate in classic camp activities, learn valuable wilderness skills, and make lasting memories while immersed in the natural beauty of UBC’s Loon Lake Lodge and Retreat Centre. Days will be filled with sports, scavenger hunts, and outdoor games designed to educate and inspire. Summer camp traditions like hiking, stargazing and campfire sing-a-longs are integrated with enriching activities that promote healthy living and foster personal growth.
