As UBC Camps continues to plan and adapt its operations in response to COVID-19, we have several important updates to share:
- Public registration for fall programs and Winter Break camp is now open.
- Parent/guardians are advised to review the changes & safety measures being implemented for camps.
- As of May, a new registration system is in use. Please set up a new login to prepare for summer camp registration.

This overnight program provides campers with the opportunity to participate in classic camp activities, learn valuable wilderness skills, and make lasting memories while immersed in the natural beauty of UBC’s Loon Lake Lodge & Retreat Centre. Campers will participate in applied learning activities, such as survival skills, orienteering, and plant and wildlife identification. Days will be filled with sports, scavenger hunts, and outdoor games designed to educate and inspire. Summer camp traditions like hiking, stargazing and campfire sing-a-longs are integrated with enriching activities that promote healthy living and foster personal growth. Fueled by healthy and delicious creations by the acclaimed Loon Lake culinary team, youth enrolled in this camp will find this program educational, fun, and rewarding.
