Program provided in partnership with The Cinematheque
Animation brings your idea to life without any creativity limit! Stop motion is a technique that helps participants to create a sequence of moving elements by capturing and designing every frame.
Participants create their short animations using smartphones and animation apps. This is a hands-on technology program that promotes basic movie-making skills, problem solving, and team-work as well as creativity. Participants work in small groups, creating their own stories and exploring how different animation techniques transform drawings, clay, paper, and everyday materials in moving images.
All participants must have given photo/video consent in order to participate in this camp. All gears and materials provided.
This camp is presented in collaboration with The Cinematheque, a charitable cultural organization that has offered media and film education programs for over 20 years. From engaging digital literacy workshops, to unique filmmaking programs, The Cinematheque aims to foster a passion for the art of film, as well as a critical understanding of the visual media in the world around us.
