Learn to be active with our personal trainers! Designed for athletes and non-athletes alike, this camp focuses on establishing the foundation for lifelong fitness with an emphasis on healthy principles and positive self-image. Join our engaging and enthusiastic instructors as they tour through UBC’s wide variety of fitness gyms, studios, and outdoor spaces as campers are introduced to a wide variety of fitness including free-weight training, yoga, cardio conditioning, bouldering, and outdoor fitness. Teens can expect an active week while they learn the benefits of a dynamic warm-up, basic nutrition and safe training techniques focused on injury prevention all in an inclusive, fun group atmosphere.
Location details: Drop off and pick up occur at the ARC Fitness Centre Front Desk, in the basement of the Life Building.
