The Competitive Swimming Stroke Development Camp is an intermediate-level competitive swimming program designed for swimmers proficient in their strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke & butterfly). The focus of this half-day camp is to improve the camper’s strokes, starts, turns and swimming-focused dryland training in a fun, low-pressure environment. This program is designed for campers to improve their skills so they may enroll in the Performance Swim Camps in the future. Pre-requisite: ability to swim 100m freestyle under 1:40 min and 100m individual medley under 2:00 min.
Competitive Swimming Stroke Development Camps are intended for competitive swimmers only (this is not a learn-to-swim program).

Erin is a former UBC Varsity Team Captain and Junior National team member. Originally from Ontario, Erin moved to Vancouver in 2012 to pursue swimming at UBC, the top school in the country. During her 17-year swimming career her primary events were the 100m breaststroke and 200m individual medley. In her last USport championship Erin took home 4 medals, for a total of six top four placings.
Beside her own swimming career, Erin has been actively engaged as a coach for the past seven years. What started as just private backyard swim lessons turned into a true passion. Over her time in Vancouver, she has coaching with the Vancouver Pacific Swim Club, Vancouver Vikings Swim Club, UBC Performance Swim Camps, UBC Masters and Fastlane. Erin is excited to be taking on the role of UBC Performance Camp Manager, and she is confident in her ability to deliver high quality coaching to inspire and improve the next generation!
