Are you ready to take your sports performance to the next level? The UBC varsity strength and conditioning coaches will help improve your sport performance through foundational and functional training programs. This is an exciting opportunity to train out of the high-performance environment in the Smith and Laycoe Varsity Training Centre. Each 90-minute session will begin with an athletic focused warm up, followed by a full workout, and end with a cool down and recovery methods. All workouts will include an educational component ensuring the athletes fully understand the purpose and goals behind each exercise. In the small group environment, campers will enhance their performance with olympic lift variations and key barbell movements designed to increase strength, power, and speed. The athletes will leave with the tools they need to continue advancing their performance for years to come! Weekly homework routines will be given and all athletes will take home a training program at the end of camp that builds off the 6 sessions.
